FAQs

What is Integrative counselling?

Integrative counselling is a flexible approach that draws on different therapeutic methods to meet your unique needs. Instead of using just one style, I combine person-centred counselling, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and somatic practices. This means we can work with thoughts, emotions, and the body — recognising that healing often happens on multiple levels. Integrative counselling allows us to adapt our sessions depending on what you’re going through, whether that’s stress, anxiety, identity challenges, grief, trauma, unhelpful patterning, unwanted behaviours, relationship difficulties or other challenges. It is gentle, holistic, and designed to support the whole person, not just the problem.

Do you offer counselling in English in Brussels?

Yes — all my sessions are in English. I work with expats, students, professionals and anyone who feels more comfortable speaking English. I do also speak French, if you’d prefer sessions in French, though English is my mother tongue. Find out more about why I believe mother tongue is important here.

Can I book sessions online?

Absolutely. I offer online sessions via Zoom so you can connect from anywhere. This is especially useful for expats in different time zones.

What is Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP)?

ISP is a body-based, trauma-informed approach that helps regulate the nervous system and release stress held in the body. It complements traditional talk therapy. I will not touch you - it can however sometimes involve you gently resting your hands on some parts of your own body, such as joints, head and neck, or sternum.

Do you work only with expats?

No — while many of my clients are expats, I also work with long-term international residents, students, and anyone seeking English-speaking counselling. You can find more about my expat counselling here.

What can counselling help with?

Counselling provides a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. People come for support with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, identity, cultural transition, or simply a wish for greater clarity and wellbeing. My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, adapting to your needs.

How much do sessions cost?

  • Counselling (60 minutes): €65

  • Meditation (45 minutes): €40

  • Somatic Therapy (45 minutes): €50

I also offer a sliding scale, so sessions can be adapted depending on your circumstances.

Do you offer a free introductory session?

Yes. I provide a free 30-minute introductory call. This is a chance to meet, ask questions, and see if the approach feels right for you. There is no pressure to continue — it’s simply an invitation to begin gently.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. All sessions, whether in Brussels or online, are private and follow professional ethical guidelines. Confidentiality and safety are at the heart of my practice.

How do I book a session?

You can use the contact form on this website, or email me directly. Together we will find a time that works for you — either in Brussels or online.
